Twixt Spring 'n Summer GEO-meet Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hikers2: Unfortunately I guess Crone's Cap is stuck in limbo [V] though we have tried to get it logged out by the taker.
This was a great first meet by H2 and we thank all who came and made it such a fun day [:D]

Geocache Description:

WELCOME All Cachers! Rain or Shine, this May-time event is happening this Sunday May 16th between 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m. at the Elmer G. Raymond Park on Keyes Hill in Pelham, NH. Parking coordinates: N 43° 45.979 W 071° 21.379. Keyes Hill is just off Mammoth Road (Route 128 in NH).

PARKING NOTICE: There will be two parking areas - the second (on the same side) just beyond the Raymond Park entrance. The gate will be open and there’s plenty of area down the dirt roadway. If you do need to park on the street, please pull way over off the road and DO NOT park across the street.

Gathering space is in the Lodge located at the above coordinates. Bring to share food if you wish - pot luck or just snacks. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the Lodge. Putting geonames and faces together is always fun and name tags will make it easier.

SPECIAL EVENT CACHES are being planned!

TRAVEL BUGS: To facilitate smooth transfer at the exchange table, please post a note in advance to log in the TB(s) you will be bringing. We’ll have a sign out sheet that we will use for answering any questions that arise during the week after the meet just in case. Log them out on websites as soon as you can, but do allow some time if they were not dropped early.

CACHE ITEM exchange: You’re invited to bring trade items (with value about $5.00) either gift wrapped or not. At about 3:00 p.m. we will start drawing one name at a time for someone who is in the room to pick out an item, then pick the next name etc. etc. We will continue this until all items are picked. If someone is still out on the trail, their name will be returned to the container. Mrs. TeamPookie is going to run a geo cache swap for children, each child brings a cache item wrapped UNDER $5.00. Keep it simple, make it fun.

NEARBY CACHES: Coordinates will be available - there are now 6 in Pelham - including ones at Raymond Park.

Remember to log in your Travel Bugs.

Hope to see you there!!
