Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is in the midst of one of Auckland's most prestigious suburbs and is a short walk on grass suitabe for kids 5 and up.
"Hobson's choice" is said to have had its origin in the name of one Thomas Hobson (ca. 1544-1631), at
Cambridge, England, who kept a livery stable and required every customer to take either the horse
nearest the stable door or none at all.
And in searching for this one you will have to take or leave it!
It is in a relatively open area and satellite lock should not be a problem
The container is multi-walled and camo-painted but with the outer (500ml) medium size, and an inner container of small (200 ml) capacity. Although of solid appearance, it is somewhat fragile so please handle it with care and replace it exactly as found.
When placed it contained
Frowning face fridge magnet
A Kokopu connection fridge magnet
A Kiwi half penny
A small tube of multipurpose adhesive
Due to the small capacity please trade only small items.
Note:13/6/04 The wrong image removed( long story) and difficulty rating dropped to 2.5
Additional Note: 18/7/04 As I am somewhat incapacitated at the moment, Caroleetess kindly added a replacement loogbook to the cache which has a transcript of all logs to 14/7/04 included.
