Many years ago I worked in Hungarian Ship- and Crane Factory as steel engineer. The main order partner that times were the Russian market, later, at the time of political changes stopped the demand for the cranes, and occurred the new demand for stoker grates. So the main profile of the famous Ganz factory suddenly came to it’s end. When today I have guests from foreign countries, one of the their first requests is to show them the famous Ganz factory, where the famous, also today working machines were built. Today there is standing the Duna Plaza on the place of the crane design office, nothing to say about the of the Hungarian industry. Today I am work as scientific researcher, I show to my children since their small ages the place of my factory and the park. It build a city park, which is able to rest, to walk, to play, and the Geocaching gives a possibility to reserve this many memories. My older son selected this attractive park instead of the crane design office. He would like to make an own geocaching box, and his selection is this park. I don’t know, what will to say the association of the geocaching, because there is yet a geocaching box on the Hajógyári island – we have a lot of beautiful memories on this place. [10.09.2004.
