This cache is at a great viewpoint in the Squak Mtn State Park.
In the Puget Sound area, we are very fortunate to have so many great natural parks. Squak Mountain is one of the best. The cache is located at an awesome viewpoint well within the park. The shortest route to the cache is about 2.5 miles one way with an elevation gain of about 1000 feet.
The park is very similar to it's neighbor to the west, Cougar Mtn, but not nearly as popular. If you liked the view caches in Cougar Mtn, you will really like this viewpoint. Its the nicest one of the group.
All three caches within the state park can be done in one day, but it would be a workout. The main parking area and entrance to the park is at 47 28.845 / 122 03.276. To save a few hundred feet in elevation gain, another trail with access to the park is up High Valley on SE 122nd, 47 29.687 / 122 03.618. Head east on this trail until you hit the main trail. From Issaquah, you can gain access from Mountain Drive at 47 31.384 / 122 03.458, or a little higher up off Sierra Crest SW at 47 30.992 / 122 03.486.

There should be good GPS reception once you reach the viewpoint and the cache location is pretty obvious. You shouldn't need the hint. Be sure to cover it up good so it can't be unintentionally found.
