Take a walk around the parks and gardens in
the Finsbury and Pentonville boroughs of Islington and locate
a few caches on your journey.
The cache is hidden at a scenic park that surrounds St. Mark’s
Church, built in 1828. This park was developed from one of 6
original squares located in the Clerkenwell district of Finsbury.
Today, a walk through the park reveals its age by the maturity of
the trees, but it is freshly planted with flowers and shrubs
throughout. Myddelton Park is named for Sir Hugh Myddelton, and
there is a plaque on a wall that says he was a "Engineer,
Goldsmith, and Public Benefactor. He brought fresh water to
London." He was responsible for the first organized supply of clean

The park is open during daylight hours and there is a children’s
playground on one side. You will not need to enter the park,
however, to retrieve the cache.
You are searching for a magnetic key holder. You will not need
to leave the pavement to retrieve or replace the cache. The cache
contains a log only, so bring your own pen or pencil.
