Candy Apple Green: This cache was originally placed on a dare from my dear friend Centris...thus the cache name. The special items, that are no longer listed within the cache page, are the pictures of it being placed, and that the cache was placed in the nude. Ok....I did have on hiking boots and my cowboy hat! (and won taco's and a beer)
Yep...January 22nd,2004 was a very cold cold day. In fact, the camera would not work until the batteries were warmed up!
Lots a great memories of cachers who helped make this sport evolve into what it is today...and those who accepted 'The Dare' and also found it sans clothing. Back then, there were only about 20 of us locally, and most who are no longer part of the sport, which is sad. But as everything must come to an end, so must this cache. Time to allow this one to go, and open up a new area for a new cache idea.
Thanks to Ranger Pete, for understanding our warped sense of adventure and allowing us to keep the cache in play. He wont admit it, but I'm betting that he also found it, "Double Dog Dare" style as well! lol!
