This is a large pill bottle located near the bike trail in the
Olentangy Parklands.
This cache, named for the majestic river that flows through
Columbus, is just off a paved trail. Easiest access to the park is
from the turnaround at the end of Whitney Ave, or along Masefield
street, which is closer but has less easy parking. Or, if you’re
feeling energetic, you can park at Antrim, TWHS, or the tennis
courts at Wilson Bridge and do the whole bike trail. The park is
popular with cyclists, dog walkers, and joggers, so activity may be
high depending on season/day/time. Park closes at sunset. Cache is
tall and narrow, so items slightly shorter than a pencil or a
little wider than a film canister will fit. Please replace in its
original hiding spot and cover well.
