TheCookieCrew: The cache has had a good run, but as we no longer cache, and it has been looted a couple of times including loss of TB's by the looks of things we will be removing this cache from the location, to allow others to place in the area if they choose....

Geocache Description:

A short Walk (Less than 0.25 Mile) on well trodden mud paths.

The Cordinates will take you to a copse hidden in the middle of a modern housing estate. As part of the Bracknell Forest Councils woodland project the copse, along with several others in the Bracknell area, forms an important part of the local community, helping to soften the urban landscape and provide a valuable widlife refuge.

Local Schools and Nurseries are often to be seen in the copse learning the importance of the local wildlife and participating in woodland regeneration schemes.

After finding the cache please take time out to complete the walk, remembering to Cache In, Trash out if required.

The Copse itself can be accessed via various different gates, however parking is limited in this residential area, the prefered parking area is outside the local comunity centre (N 51.25.023 W 0.46.882) however this car park can be closed at anytime. Parking nearer to the cache is limited to on road parking with the most suitable being at N 51.25.125 W 0.46.896 (Please bear in mind this is a residential street).

The Cache Container is a large Ammo box, containing a wide assortment of the usual goodies.

[Edit 15/09/2007] Finally got to do a maintenance visit today, cache still in good condition, looking a little empty so will come back when we have some more bits and pieces, removed camera so hopefully photos will apear soon! TheCookieCrew]
