Geocache Description:

This is a digi cam/camera cache. You must post a photo to get credit for this cache. Do not log this cache UNTIL your photo has been uploaded to the cache page or it will be deleated. Log MUST be accompanied by a photo. If you log and no photo is attached I WILL DELETE THE LOG! It is up to you to make sure the photo is posted with your pic. No exceptions!! Sorry!

Take a step back in time. Look around and enjoy the historical quaintness of this beautiful landmark nestled right smack in the middle of the town of Lexington, South Carolina.

I have resided in this town for almost 5 years now and just came across the existance of this landmark.

Coordinates will put you in the road that runs through the middle of the landmark.

To get credit for the cache - Post a photo on this cache page of you or your group in front of the largest home on the property that faces the road.

I love seeing photos of the people that are out there cachin'!!

Please take the time to check out the gallery on this web page and see all the other happy cachers that have visited "White Picket Fences"!

This property (as most historical sites are) is managed on grants and donations. Donations are always accepted but not required.

Tours are available Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00 and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 on a first come first serve basis. Last tour begins at 3:30 and the museum is closed on Mondays and major holidays.

If you happen to run into Horace Harmon, introduce yourself as a geocacher and tell him you read about his place on this site.

Happy Cachin'!
