Geocache Description:

An easy find just off Route 66 in the town of Foil. In a small park that celebrates their howmtown hero. LOOKS LIKE WE MUST SPELL THIS OUT AS SOME PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN LOG WHAT EVER THEY WANT, NO VISIT THE CACHE NO LOG

Andrew Hartley Payne 1907-1977, graduated from Foil High School 1927. He practiced his running from home to school. He set the world record in the 1928 Transcontinal Foot Race. The race started in LA on March 4, 1928 and ended in NYC on May 26, 1928. the race was 3423.5 miles long. He finished with the time of 573 hours, 4 minutes and 34 seconds. There is a second plaque in his honor just a short distance north on Andy Payne BLVD at 36 26.099 and 095 31.203. To log this cache e-mail me the answer to the following:
