Tämä tiettävästi Uudenkaupungin toinen geokätkö vie sinut pienelle kierrokselle entisessä kotikaupungissani. Kokonaismatka murtoviivaa pitkin on alle 2 km. This is the second geocache in Uusikaupunki. It takes you to a short tour in my former home town. Total distance from waypoint to waypoint is less than 2 km.
Annetuista koordinaateista löytyy Pär Bonkin ehkä loistavimman keksinnön kunniaksi pystytetty monumentti "Anjovisvoiman voitto". Monumentin valmistumisesta kului A vuotta sen pystyttämiseen. Monumentin pituus on B metriä ja sen järjestysnumero "Tour de Bonkin" listalla on C.
Pisteessä N 60° 47,hhh' E 21° 24,iii' on entisen kotitaloni lipputanko.
hhh = 4*B+9*C ja iii = A*B+5*C+72
Lipputangon viereisessä seinässä on muistokyltti, jossa esiintyy kaksi numeroa. Olkoon pienempi luku D ja suurempi luku E.
Lipputangon luota näkyy meri. Kävele rantaviivaa pitkin länteen ja ylitä ensimmäinen kohdalle tuleva silta. Lähettyvillä olevat punaiset puurakennukset ovat suolamakasiineja, joihin laivojen kaukomailta tuoma suola ennen varastoitiin. Olkoon makasiinien lukumäärä lähinnä vesirajaa olevassa ensimmäisessä rivissä F. Jätä huomiotta makasiinien väliin rakennetut katokset, yhdyskäytävät ja kauempana toisessa rivissä olevat rakennukset. Makasiineissa toimii pikkuliikkeitä ja ravintoloita. Hyvä paikka ostaa matkamuistoja sekä syödä/juoda. Sillalta katsottuna etuvasemmalla näkyvä vaaleansininen talo on Bonk Business Inc:n pääkonttori, jossa voit käydä tutustumassa anjovisvoimaan, haahkanpelottimeen ja muihin Pär Bonkin insinööritaidon mestariteoksiin.
Päivitys 4.2.2018: Makasiinien suuren suosion takia niitä on rakennettu pari kappaletta lisää rivin itäpäähän. Jätä myös nämä uudisrakennukset huomiotta laskelmissasi. Ne erottuvat vanhemmasta rakennuskannasta mm. seinien värisävyn perusteella.

Lopullinen kätkö sijaitsee paikalla, jonka läheisyydestä etenkin kesällä on kaunis näköala. Kätkön koordinaatit ovat N 60° 47,ppp' E 21° 23,qqq'

Pakkasella kylttejä voi joutua raaputtelemaan jääkrapalla. Syvän lumen aikana kätköllä voi joutua tekemään vähän kaivuutöitä, mutta itse paikka on aika ilmeinen. Rasia on kolmen desilitran jäänalle.
At given coordinates you'll find the monument "Victory of anchovy power" which has been erected to Pär Bonk's perhaps greatest innovation. It took A years from completing the monument until it was erected. The lenght of monument is B meters and its number in "Tour de Bonk" catalogue is C.
At N 60° 47,hhh' E 21° 24,iii' is the flag pole of my old home.

On the wall next to the pole is a commemorative plaque with two numbers on it. Let the smaller number be D and bigger number E.
From the flag pole you can see the sea. Walk along the shoreline westwards and cross the first bridge. The red wooden buildings nearby are storehouses in where salt from overseas was stored in the old days. Let the number of storehouses in the first row closest to the waterfront be F. Ignore the addition huts, connective corridors between storehouses and buildings further back in the second row. Restaurants and souvenir shops operate in old storehouses. Perhaps it's time for a break or some shopping. To the front-left from the bridge you see a light blue building. It's the headquarters of Bonk Business Inc. In there you can familiarize yourself with anchovy power, eider duck scarer and other masterpieces of the dysfunctional engineering by Pär Bonk.
Update on 4th February, 2018: Two additional building has been added to eastern end of the row. Ignore also those in your calculations.

Cache is located near to a scenic spot. Especially during Summer the view is beautiful. Final coordinates for cache are N 60° 47,ppp' E 21° 23,qqq'

During Winter it may be necessary to remove ice from plaques before you can read them. The location of the stash is quite obvious, but you may need to dig some snow to reach the cache box. It is a 0,3 litre Tupperware.
