Boy, its cold 'ere Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

=^..^=: This cache has been around for 15 years, the location has been around for a lot longer and that really is what I wanted people to find.

When I started placing geocaches there were only a couple of the Island - and generally they were in walls or similar in Douglas.

I spread caches out across the island - for instance the injerbreck triangle caches present incredible vistas of the island - and generally I doubt anyone would go there unless I'd put a cache there.

But I can't commit to a maintenance schedule that wasn't there 15 years ago when I placed the cache.

So I'm shutting all the caches down.

I'm going to archive them and let Geocaching shut them down permanently.

Geocache Description:

Overlooking the south east of the Island - 900 ft above sea level in the shadow of South Barrule

This cache has an incredible view - you can see "Two Towers" and "Captain Scarlet" from here, with uninterrupted views of Ballasalla, Castletown and Port St Mary.

Cache is located in a growing plantation so GPS signal is good. There are three approaches to the cache, one from the top of Cringle, one from the bottom of Cringle and one from South Barrule plantation (which is the way we went).

The cache is planted in the middle of the junction of the three tracks.

Its a small container containing a travel bug, a roll of 35mm film (un-exposed) and a few presta dust caps as I noticed one missing from Ellan Vannin's bike last week.
