Geocache Description:

In December 1972, Hanoi was bombed by the US Air Force for 12 days straight. During this time an event occurred that can still be seen today, amongst the houses and streets of a nearby neighbourhood.

After the bombings, both sides agreed to meet and end their combat. It was another 29 months before the North and the South were united and a further five years before peace came to this country.

To log this, take a photo of yourself, family, friend and/or GPSr in front of the object.

Note on cache maintenance: I have a friend at the Australian Embassy (nearby) who I could call upon to check if there is a problem with the site. He is not a Geocacher, but knows the site well.
