Cranberry Bug Hotel Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

seeker 8: Due to a pending move from SWPA, I have removed the cache and will archive it. It's location close to both I-79 and the Turnpike, as well as the easy access (if you go in right), this was a good location for the bug hotel and someone may want to place another one here. The muggles may gotten bored, but I would recommend moving it to a nearby area just in case they try to check it out next spring. Its really painful when bugs are pilfered.

Geocache Description:

Within a mile and a half of the junction of I-79 and the PA Turnpike. In Cranberry Park.

Welcome to the Cranberry Bug Hotel. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable please let us know. The management wishes you a pleasant stay and safe travels. This cache is designed to allow local residents and passers-by a convenient and easy access location to drop off and pick up Travel Bugs with the hopes that another cacher can help them on their journey. Please note that this is not a conventional cache, there are no trinkets to swap, just Travel Bugs and a logbook. The travel bugs progress requires you to log its being taken from this cache and being placed in the next cache. If you pickup a bug please go to the travel bug page and log that it is in your possession. Please only take a bug if you are able to help it on it's journey and work towards accomplishing it's goal. And please, only take one bug at a time. Leave some for others who come along behind you. This cache is a short walk from parking. It is a 2 quart plastic water pitcher and, depending on occupancy, can hold some rather large bugs. Why a bug hotel? - You picked up a bug somewhere and realized you cannot help in its goal so you need an easily accessible place to drop it so maybe someone else can. - You are feeling a little guilty about that bug you have been holding on to for weeks. - You are about to travel and want to grab a bug to help along its journey. - You are in from out-of-town and want an easy pickup/drop-off spot. - You have a new bug to release and you need a good cache to place it in. Credit to Mtn Biker Kev. I copied (almost verbatim) his concept and verbiage.
