Cache is actually located in a cemetary right next to the Veteran's Memorial Park which is off Veteran's Memorial Highway also known as Orangeburg Rd. in Rockland County, NY.
Dare you find my first attempt at hiding a cache? I hope it is worthy of your time. Park by the cemetary entrance off Orangburg Rd (on Blaisdell Rd I think) and it will be a short walk. Or, park at the Veteran's Memorial Park and explore the batting cages, the ponds, soccer fields, etc... before getting to the cache. This is a great place to bring the kids to play. However, you may not want to bring them into the poison ivy patches by the cache.
Cache is a clear plastic container with a red lid. Original contents are:
Tin of freeze-dried krill
Blue duck soap
Blowing bubbles
7-day pill box (never used)
Glow-in-the-dark dino
Nemo toy
Snappers
Highlighter pen
Please log your visit, read the haiku and leave a haiku of your own (perhaps inspired by caching). Also, please rehide well as there are many beer bottles and trash closeby. . . undesirable visitors perhaps (aliens excluded).
