By hoof, heel or sno-moe-beel Cache is in about 1 mile from parking lot. Wear orange in the fall, this is a popular hunting grounds.

Not accessable by bike, sand makes it difficult to walk on, and most of the elevation change is at the beginning of the trail. To get to parking lot from Elk River:
- 1. West on Hwy 10.
- 2. North on County 15 about 5 miles.
- 3. East on 233rd Ave, about 1 mile.
- 4. Parking lot on North side of road.
Generally follow the posted signs, ie Do not enter means Do not enter. Just off of trail, very little (if any) bushwacking required. Hike out the same way you came in, no shortcuts to your car.
