Geocache Description:

This cache was placed by James, the youngest member of THE BRAMBLERS and was kindly funded by The Cat (Mark Thompson, GeocacheUk.com), who sadly passed away on 12th September 2004. It is a micro but all is not what it seems!

The cache is on a pretty walk near the village of Hunton. There are some little bridges to cross so take care on these when wet, also wellies might be a good idea in wet weather. There is also a stile to cross. There is parking for 2 or 3 cars at N51 09.259 W001 18.512. From here you will need to walk in a westerly direction along the lane for about 500ft, where you will need to cross a small footbridge. Hunton is an old settlement dating back to 1575. It has been described as "an Old English 'dogs farm', or possibly 'hounds kennels' for the hunt in Harewood Forest. From Hunton to the forest is an easy ride on established (mainly Roman) roads".
