This cache is in the back section of a national park that is not used by the general public but is open to bushwalkers.To get to the spot to park your car zero your speedometer at the Hampton shop and head out on the Crows Nest road.At 3.0km turn right into Grapetree Crk Rd, at 5.6 km turn right into Deeth Rd, at 6.8km turn left, you will pass through a gate near a house at 7.4km and 300 mtrs down a grassy lane is the gate marked State Forest.This looks like it is heading into a farm at one stage but it is OK as it is a public access to the National Park gateway.I won't give any clues from here on except that you will need some map reading ability (Map9343.34 Crows Nest 1: 25000 covers all but a small eastern section).I will leave some way points in the clue section but you will enjoy it better if you do it yourself so try not to use them unless neccessary.The walk took about 3 - 4 hrs with a quick lunch at the top and was on forestry trails except for the end was a bit of a scramble, however the views are fantastic (this is not a hard walk as "& co" was 6 1/2 months pregnant when we did it).After you have found the cache go to S27 18.735,E152 07.009 for the views.If you have a map you can head home via a few different tracks to save back tracking.Don't forget to tell someone where you are going and take a way point of the carpark before you start off."Your perseverance will pay off at the end!!"
