Mugger's Alley Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

jaleel: Cache has been buried by earthmoving equipment making a walking path near the river. RIP. If I get around to it (or if someone else wants to take this one over), Mugger's Alley cache may be back some day.

Geocache Description:

Located along the Rogue River, but tucked well away from the casual observer.

This cache is named for the Class IV whitewater chute that provides an alternate route down the Rogue River from the main chute of the Class IV Powerhouse Falls near Gold Hill, OR.

This cache allows for a nice bike ride/geocache outing. Start your ride in Gold Hill at the public library. Cross the railroad tracks and ride the bike path upriver. You can also drive and park fairly close to the cache.

Cache is a black ammo box with "GEO" painted on the side. Please hide and camouflage the cache well once you are done. Good luck getting back!
