Geocache Description:

This is the most beautiful cathedral in St. Petersburg, in my humble opinion. This is the only truly Russian one, as the others are all more typical of Western Europe.

The Church of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood aspires to be the most Russian cathedral in St. Petersburg, and is modeled after the beautiful St. Basil's in Moscow. The other prominent churches in this most European of Russian cities are modeled after more commonplace Italian cathedrals.

These coordinates bring you near the cathedral. To claim credit for this find, please answer the following two questions:

1) How many onion domes can you see from this location?
2) What is behind you?

Bring film. Enjoy!

Please note: You must visit the cache with your GPS in hand in order to log this cache. Please do not search the Internet in an attempt to answer the questions. Please do not email me about when you visited in the past without your GPS in hand.
