Inspired by the following links; (http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/leisure_heritage/corp_history/coal_posts.htm) & (http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/leisure_heritage/corp_history/coal_tax_posts.PDF) this is our second cache, and the start of the London Coal Post Series, there are only another 199 or so Coal Posts to go!!!.
This is a fairly easy cache to reach, along footpaths and on level ground. Parking is available at the nearby Tower in Shenley or in the car park in Shenley Park for a longer walk.
First find Coal Post #41. Trust us it is there, however nowhere near as easy to find as #24, remember these posts are 150 years old, this one is about 1.5m high, square, made of iron and painted white.
When you find the post, your reward is near; 15m due east of the Coal Post #41. Where you will find the following....
Standard 2.5l Tupperware box, containing;
Disposable camera (first 27 please take a pic)
Toy car
Eraser
Bubbles
Highlighter
Shower gel
Good luck,
