This cache is located near an area that was hit by a (deliberately lit!) fire the day after the big firestorm hit Canberra (Jan 19 2003). A lot of the undergrowth is coming back now, however there are some very black trees in the area just West of the cache location. If you wander off to the East, you can catch some great views of Belconnen.
This cache is a small plastic box. Along with the usual log book, trinkets, etc. it contains a disposable camera and we invite you to take a picture of yourself (or something just as unique and interesting). The best pics will be put up here on the website.
