An easy find, just a long drive.
Shattuck Oklahoma just another small farming community in western Oklahoma. This is where the Shattuck Windmill Museum and Park is located. It's not a large area but it is packed with vintage windmills from the 1800's on. These machines are what allowed many early day settlers to live on the plains in the hot and dry summer months. It is open sunup to sundown, no admission and all the mills have descriptive plaques. To claim this cache: there is a white and green windmill with OK on its tail. What is its name, who made it, where manufactured and when. OR take a picture with your GPS at the muesuem. If your in the area it really is a neat place to stop and check out.
