Geocache Description:

Our Ohana placed this cache on a beautiful sunny southern California day on the coast. No offense to the other states but you ain’t got nothing on us here in So Cal. This cache is a 3 ¼ inch round tin that is about 1 inch deep painted gold, green and black to match it environment (sort of).

While walking and looking for a “Good Spot” to place the cache we ran across, or should I say saw a lot of lizards on the trail, which was a big difference from all the squirrels we saw in the parking lot. At the time we were placing this cache we were entertained by a pod of dolphins playing around and surfing the curls. We watched them for about 25 minutes, it reminded me of the way Jerry Lopez used to surf. Any of you old dogs remember Gerry Lopez??? I guess I am dating myself… enough reminiscing. Hopefully you will see the dolphins play when you go for this cache or even the whales migrating up and down the coast. Even if you don’t see the whales or the dolphins you will be treated to yet another… yawn… spectacular view. When placed the cache contained: a lei kit (to make your lei), a package of flower food, a gold dollar, an army man, a Library sew on patch, 3 tokens for video games, a real petrified sharks tooth, a “Hello Kitty” note pad, a pencil grip for lefties, a couple of lego blocks, a set of handcuff keys, (if you are into that sort of thing, if you know what I mean) . Mahalo and Aloha Moag Ohana
