Parts of the cache will lead you in 8-shaped route through the most beautiful places of the park. The distance of whole trip is supposed to be about 11.4 km, but you can also break the trip in the middle point. In this case you will not see some great views, but you will get the cache as well. I recommend you to leave your car at Pukala parking (N 61 40.837 E 24 10.209) and start hiking from there.
Step 1
The coordinates of the first step are shown on top of the page. The distance from parking place to the step 1 is approximately 1160 meters. The container is a black standard filmcanister. There you will find coordinates for the next step.
Step 2
The distance from the previous point is about 1900 meters. In this white filmcanister you will find the coordinates of the step 3 and encrypted coordinates of the final cache. Since the satellite visibility may be poor on this place, I give you an extra hint. Near this point you will go along a stone 'wall'. The container is in one of the small pits in that wall. Nearby the container there is a twin willow and one of the stems is divided again, so there is a kind of three-headed spruce. Note that you do not need to climb somehow to get the cache. It's reachable by any adult.
Step 3
The distance from the step 2 to this place is about 1600 meters. The white filmcanister contains the coordinates of the final cache. Now you are in the most distant point of the trip. Choose the right way to go back!
Final cache
The longest and most nice way from last intermediate step to the cache place is about 6200 meters. A regular sized container is located in few meters from the waterline and hidden well. There may be other people walking around so please don't bare the cache to them.
Initially the cache consists of:
- a snake
- emerald-green decorative powder (or something like this)
- soft case for mobile phone
- blank CD
and logbook, pencil, sharpener.
