A short, though occasionally steep, walk through a pine and rhododendron wood, especially pretty when the schrubs are in flower.
There is ample free parking at N50 49.073 W001 48.524, a lovely view point overlooking the river valley where birds of prey frequently glide the thermals. I often come here for a picnic brunch after the boot sale at Matchams just down the road. They are held from 8am on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the year.
