Very top of Kit Carson Peak. If you want a good view with your cache, this is the one. **Warmer seasons only.**
My friend Kelly and I spent the day placing this cache. It's my first one, but it's pretty good. In the winter, it will be covered in snow, so go during the warmer seasons. Take Hwy 206 to Mt. Spokane State Park and park in the first large sized parking lot you come to. It is right before a major switchback in the road. Cross the road and enter Kit Carson Road(trail). You'll be on this trail for a little over a mile when you get to a fork. Take a right and then make another immediate right onto trail 115. Stay on this trail and it will lead you to the cache waiting at the top. There are moderate terrain changes, so this is for the more serious cacher. It is 2.11 miles to the cache. **Take Lunch but try to pack light** In addition to the standard items, we put in a golf ball, a toy helicopter, a dice, and a really cool spherical magnet (the last two have pretty much become my signature items.) Enjoy the view with lunch!

Apparently, and the trail numbers have changed. 115 has become 140 - I have not verified this for myself. If another cacher can confirm this, let me know and I'll make the change permanent.
Grumpy1988 has suggested an easier route: "went the other way, it was easier...trail 115 has BEEN REPLACED by 140 (you will take 140 if you use the lower trail loop, its pass the SMITH GAP rest area)...go to the second parking location (upper kit carson) follow the trail around the ccc cabin...little over a mile is the trail head to 130, 140, 160, take 160, roughly 3/4 of a mile to the top and thats where the cache is"
