A cache providing a great view above lake constance.
Ein Cache der einen großartigen Blick über den Bodensee bietet.
This Cache is located on top of the Pfaender Mountain in Austria. It is made of a small plastic container, which contains only a logbook, so there is no room for trading items.
The cache is hidden in the base of a tree just about 1.5 meters of the little hiking trail.
To get up onto the Pfaender you have three possibilities:
1st: Hiking up, which will take about 1.5 hours (Terrain:***)
2nd: Taking the gondola (you will have a nice view, but its about € 10 per person)
3rd and best: driving up the mountain using the small, winding road (it is in good condition and can be driven on with every regular car; on top you will find parking for € 0.5 per hour, see map below to find the road, take the exit to Pfaender from the main road (B190) at:

find the cache at:

From top of the mountain you will have an excellent view above lake Constance and the surrounding area. Go to the big red/white antenna for best views and bring a camera and binoculars.

Dieser Cache befindet sich in Österreich auf dem Pfänder Berg. Er besteht aus einem kleinen Plastikbehälter, der nur ein Logbuch enthält, also leider kein Platz um Sachen zu tauschen.
Der Cache ist in der Basis eines Baumes versteckt und nur 1.5 Meter vom kleinen Wanderweg entfernt.
Um auf den Pfänder zu gelangen gib es drei Möglichkeiten:
1.: Hochwandern, dauert etwa 1.5 Stunden (Gelände:***)
2.: Mit der Seilbahn hochfahren ( man hat eine schöne Aussicht, aber es kostet etwa € 10 pro Person)
3. und bestens: Auf der kleinen gewundenen Bergstrasse hochfahren ( die Strasse ist in gutem Zustand und kann mit einem normalen Auto befahren werden; oben kann man für € 0.5 pro Stunden parken; schau auf die Karte um die Strasse zu finden, nimm die Ausfahrt aus dem Kreisel auf der Hauptstrasse (B190) bei:

finde den Cache bei:

Vom Berg aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Bodensee und die Umgebung.
Für die beste Aussicht gehe zur rot-weißen Antenne und nimm eine Kamera und Fernglas mit.
