Geocache Description:

The thatched building is reputed to be the oldest ???? in Hampshire.

This is one of four preliminary parts of a five-part multi-cache. The first four parts named after the four winds may be completed on their own in any order but these four parts must be completed to answer clues to the final part, Force 9.

The co-ordinates are NOT those of the Cache, but of a suggested parking place. Keep your eyes open because near this parking place there is an establishment where sustenance may be obtained. The Cache is NOT there either but you will need the full name of this establishment.

In order to locate the Cache, use the 7th and 5th letters of the establishment name in turn and the code below to replace the X’s in the Northing co-ordinate

. A B C D E F G
0 1 2 3 4 5 6

H I J K L M N
7 8 9 0 1 2 3

O P Q R S T U
4 5 6 7 8 9 0

V W X Y Z
1 2 3 4 5

N 5 0 ° 5 6 . x x 5

Repeat the above using the 2nd, 7th and 2nd letters and the same code to replace the X’s in the Westing co-ordinate W 0 0 0 ° 5 x . x x 6

The Cache is not far from a public footpath. The container is a small green plastic bottle.
