Geocache Description:

Mid-spring is the best time to visit this cache. Bring a kite if you want and your camera for certain.

As of 5/10/03 we modified this to a two-step cache to reduce the chance of accidental finds. The original location is now a microcache--a black plastic film canister that contains the new coordinates where the actual cache is hidden.

From the most obvious parking area, this is about a 6/10 mile walk to the microcache if you choose the most direct route, but meandering will be more fun. The new cache location is about 250' from the microcache. This is a cross-country trek so please tread lightly.

Please bring a pencil and paper if you want to write down the coordinates you'll find in the microcache.

The cache is a small clear plastic jar, and its original contents include:
* bandana embroidered with the name of the cache
* packets of wildflower seeds
* a good luck scarab
* bottle of bubbles
* log book and camera
