The Santa Cruz Wharf is a great place to visit for the whole family. Take a stroll, have some eats and find a cache. If you are pressed for time and are extremely lucky, you can even park for free (30 min or less).
We tried to do some caching today (4/12/03) in Santa Cruz, but the wind and the rain, just made it absolutely impossible to find the caches hidden in foliage. Even the web cams were off-line this afternoon, so it gave me a chance to hide a cache in a place that is normally very busy.
This is a log only microcache, so bring your own pen. Good luck with the search and be stealthy.
