This mulit-cache will be challenging at times. Some areas are brushy, but there is a trail of sorts through most of the journey. There will be a climb up-hill, somewhat steep at times. Cachers will need a pen and paper to complete some of the clues. Bug spray, hiking staff, binoculars and a calculator may be useful. Expect to spend approximately three to four hours completing this cache.
This cache is hidden in the shadow of dark mountain. The hunt will lead through impressive natural areas including Poison Fork Creek (one of the purest streams in the piedmont). Travel forgotten roads and old trails while enjoying the natural beauty of your journey. Cachers will enlist the spirits of previous inhabitants to help find the cache. The lat/long will direct you to the first clue. A simple equation will lead to the next clue etc. Enjoy!
