A Samurai warrior left
home to fight and protect a foreign land.
Focused on adventure, and task at hand, the warrior seldom made it
home
to those who really cared.
The baby sister he left behind, sent
pictures and letters...five at a time.
She often wondered if the warrior she missed was actually "...doing
fine."
He replied with packages, and
letters, from far off sites.
Few and far between, such is life.
They thought of each other and kept
pictures close.
During their short visits she quietly wondered, “Could this be a
ghost?”
After years and years the baby had
grown.
She too became a Samurai to fight evils unknown.
They laugh, they talk, they fight
for a common cause.
During these troubled times, they relish this slight
pause.
Today these Samurai's walk, side by
side.
