This offset multi-cache can be reached via a footpath beside a beautiful crystal clear river hidden within the village of Alresford, Hampshire. Don’t forget the bread for the ducks.

The co-ordinates above will take you to the final resting place of 'Hambone Jr' of the 9th Division, US Army, and you will need to find the following;

Which Infantry Regiment was he a friend of, this will give you A & B.

Now look at the Month, the number of the Month will give you C.

The year will give you D E F G

The co-ordinates you need for the cache are as follows;

The cache is an ammo box which is clearly marked., As this footpath can get busy at times, please ensure the cache is well covered and not visible from any direction when you leave it

This cache was placed in April so there are several 'Easter Bunnies' waiting to be rescued.

After visiting the cache a short distance away in the village is Alresford Station, the home of the Watercress Line with it's bygone age of steam trains, special events occur throughout the year see their website www.watercressline.co.uk
