It is funny how in our daily lives we get caught up in routine and redundancy. This is a place I drive by at least 2 times per day. I have watched the community grow up around it. I love to watch the trees change with the seasons. There are even times when as I drive by I seen ceremonies going on here. I finally took the time to stop and visit the other day. What I found was a place that was unique to our community. With our country at war yet again this is a place worth stopping and spending some time in rememberance. There is a virtual cache here for many reasons rather than a traditional. Two primary reasons for not placing a traditional cache here are one no hiding places where even a micro would last and secondly but maybe most importantly the National Guard maintains this place. With everyone being on "alert" these days I did not want to risk a cacher having an unpleasant experience so I settled for a virtual. In order to have your log remain please email me with the answer to this question. What is unique about the trees in this park? If you value your freedom of speech and assembly this is a place to remember what the cost is.
