Geocache Description:

This is the final part of a five part multicache. The first four ‘virtual’ parts (N,S,E,W) have to be solved first to find the start co-ordinates for this part. Solving this part will lead you to the actual cache.

Firstly the co-ordinates above will take you to the geographical centre of the island, nothing whatsoever to do with this cache but you might want to pay a visit anyway, there is roadside parking there and an obelisk to mark the point.

Now on to the cache for real:
This part consists of a number of locations within walking distance of each other, at each location there will be clues to solve to discover the next location.

Some of the answers will need to be decrypted and converted to a number – this is how it works:

GEOCACHING for example can be calculated as shown:
G=7, E=5, O=5, C=3, A=1, C=3, H=8, I=9, N=4, G=7.

Add the digits together:
7 + 5 + 5 + 3 + 1 + 3 + 8 + 9 + 4 + 7 = 52

Right here we go :

Firstly, completely ignore the co-ordinates at the top.

From the first four virtual caches you should have four numbers N, S, E, W, hopefully you have e-mailed them to me to check them.

Use them in the following way to give you the starting point for this cache:

N° NN NS.SSS W° 00W WW.EEE

This should take you to a free car park from where you should be able to solve these 3 clues without straying too far:

To get to the next location move South by ( a x b ) and West by ( a x c )

Now solve these two:

What N _ _ _ takes you to ‘G’ ? (d)

and it's unsuitable " _ _ _ " " _ _ _ ' _ " decrypt _ _ (e)

To get to the next location move North by ( e x 4 ) and West by ( d x 2 )

Now solve these two:

This one has also been removed so again the answer is in brackets below.

What is this? The Island’s most important " _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ " decrypt _ _ (f) (fortress)

and to the right of a crown I hope you will see, one of four numbers surrounding a ‘B’ ? _ (g)

Finally you should find the cache at N° 50 41.xxx W° 01 18.yyy

Where xxx = ( e x 8 ) - 10 and yyy = ( f x 3 ) + g

To get back to the car from here, go back down the path but then go left down N26 and right along the lane.

The cache is a small green ammo box, reasonably well stocked with a variety of things.
There are not usually too many people about but please make sure you put the cache back in exactly the same place and that it cannot be seen by passers by.
The cache can be reached from the path, no need to enter any private land, please try not to flatten too much undergrowth and draw attention to the hiding place.
