Since almost everyone associates the same thing with the
place-name of Salem, we decided to make this kind of a mystery
cache--all of our initial trade items are wrapped, with simple
clues telling what the contents are--rest assured, everything is
harmless. Feel free to trade whatever you like, wrapped or
unwrapped.
5/7/03--I just updated the coordinates, by changing the .023 to
.013 in the Latitude--my GPS has been right on whenever I've
checked this cache, so I thought it was everyone else, since the
coords posted in the logs vary quite a bit, but since I copied the
coordinates from my GPS to the cache page by hand, I might've
mistyped them. Sorry about that, and I hope you all enjoyed the
extra challenge. (I just updated the software in my GPS and lost
all the waypoints I had stored, so I don't know if my coordinates
matched).
Please note: Park officials do read the cache logs, so please be
sure to stay on the trail to get as close to the cache as possible,
etc. Also note anything positive you do in the area i.e. cached and
trashed, and note how you enjoyed the park. Thank You.
