Geocache Description:

A stone built bridge which appears to have lost it's purpose in life.

There are several parking spots for this one. We parked at 55.08.270, 002.13.372 where there is a footpath across the fields. We would strongly recommend following the Border County Ride, which is signposted, rather than this path which is not clear on the ground. The Border Track is clear and easy to follow.
The bridge visited is now covered by a grassy track and only used agriculturally. At some point in the past it must have been a busy route and maybe carried traffic from the east to Bellingham. The remains of an old railway track may also be visited.
Suspect it may get a bit overgrown around the cache site in summer, but shouldn't cause any problems.
