in our disclaimer.
Cache is located in York County's Rocky Ridge Park. Park offers
several nice views of the county at the observation decks.
Take the lower park entrance -- follow the "oaks" to the power
lines. Cache is in a green ammo box wedged under a large rock and
covered with leaves. Please log in and snap a photo -- cache
contains an assortment of items. Watch your step - terrain can be
rocky.
Terrain and hiking distance will vary based on the trail(s) you
choose. Trail maps are available at the pavilion areas. Park opens
at 8 am. Gates are locked at dusk so plan accordingly. NOTE: You
might want to add iBrew's coordinates when marking this one (or try
his first) -- we placed this cache quite a while ago when the sport
was new -- we had an old Magellan unit that was one of the first
personal GPS units - it is a dinosaur compared to the ones today -
with 2 small kids we do not get back to this spot too often - next
time we do we will take new coordinate readings with our "modern"
equipment!
