Camelback View Traditional Geocache
Starrcachers: This cache was removed by South Mountain Park Rangers on 09/19/2020. Preserve rules require that users stay on designated trails at all times. This cache was found in an off-trail location that was very rocky and unsafe for users to access. Happy hunting!

Can park at 24th St. and hike up the Mormon Trail. We placed this cache while finding a few other caches in the area. This is the first cache we have placed. It's a somewhat uphill hike to get there, but the trail is well-defined. Can see some great views on the way. As always in these hiking areas, be careful on the rocks and watch out for desert critters in the warm weather. Bring some water; you'll get thirsty!
Nice view of Camelback Mountain from here, which is also one of our favorite hikes. Cache is in an ammo box, with a variety of toys as shown in the picture, as well as 2 travel bugs to start with.
