Great place just outside Oslo, in the woods, lots of beautiful lakes around. A nice trail!
CACHE CONTENTS: Two "Post-It" blocks, a lip balsam, some coins (brazilian and norwegian), and a great book!! (surprise!!) - and of course the traditional logbook and a pen.
LOCATION: You can start your journey from Frognerseteren (T-Bane line 1), and follow the trail down to Sognsvann. Take some water because it's a bit long walk (around 1 hour, but every minute is worthy believe me!)
It's a very nice walk, you'll see lots of families hiking or cycling there on the weekends. The cache is somewhere between Frognerseteren and Ullevålseter, beside a big lake where you might see some folks fishing or barbecueing.
The terrain is rocky but easy, except the last meters near the cache, where you'll need to enter the woods for 3 minutes, but if you're norwegian you should be used to it ;) The picture I uploaded is a great help to find the cache, check it out!
RESTAURATION NOTES: The cache was refurbished the 26 th October 2008 by nordreaker and whoelse. We decided to place it in the same style as the old hiding: on the ground. However, this solution did not last either, so the 20th June 2010 it was placed off the ground, hanging in a tree. So happy hunting.
