This cache requires a 6 mile RT hike and an elevation gain
of 1200 feet but it is worth every step. It is mtn bikeable.
The cache is in a pig proof ammo box. There are spectacular vistas available especially toward the Hamilton range at sunset.
Evidence of wild pigs abounds in the area of the cache.
There were pigs there when we discovered the spot. There is much to see in this park and you should plan on spending a day here to see all the historic ruins. Please leave the cache as well covered as you found it.
