Join us for a return visit to 'The Rising Sun' for the 146th Happening event - the July 2025 edition of the monthly meeting of geocachers from Herts, Beds, Cambs, Essex and even further afield. We'll also be celebrating 20 years of the PodCacher Podcast, our favourite family-friendly weekly podcast about geocaching.

We hope it will be nice enough to find us in the garden, but if the weather's against us we'll be settled down inside.

The Event: Turn up at the pub any time from 6.30pm on Wednesday 23rd July to chat to local cachers about great hides, tricky puzzles and to exchange hints, pathtags and "tales of the hunt".
We are a friendly bunch and are very welcoming to anyone and everyone. If you've never been to an Event Cache before then don't be shy. Give this one a try! For those who'd like to arrive a little earlier, there are some very fine caches placed nearby.
