Guanyin Pit Creek
is a tributary of the Tamsui River, with a length of 6.2 kilometers. Its source is located near Lingyun Zen Temple on the southern side of Guanyin Mountain. The creek flows southeast into the Taipei Basin, then turns eastward to join the Tamsui River.
Guanyin Pit Creek originally flowed into Wenzi Creek, another tributary of the Tamsui River. However, due to a river widening project on the Tamsui River, the Shizitou Gorge was demolished, resulting in the current situation where both creeks separately flow into the Tamsui River.
