FR : Histoire de l'autoroute A36
Cette dernière a été ouverte en 1986.
Aussi appelée "La Comtoise", elle établit une liaison routière entre Beaune et Ottmarsheim, marquant la frontière entre la France et l'Allemagne. Elle dessert notamment les villes de Dole, Besançon, Montbéliard, Belfort et Mulhouse, facilitant également l'accès vers l'Allemagne en direction de Fribourg-en-Brisgau et vers la Suisse en direction de Bâle.
L'aire de Besançon-Champoux
Construite quelques années après l'ouverture de l'autoroute (autour de 1990), en même temps que sa voisine de Marchaux, elle accueille notamment des restaurants, des boutiques, (le tout à été rénové en 2022) et une station service.
Entre 2011 et 2015, un agrandissement du parking poid-lourd à été fait.
Une plate-forme relie les 2 aires, vous pouvez faire la geocache voisine ! 😉

History of the A36 motorway
This one was opened in 1986.
Also called "La Comtoise", it establishes a road link between Beaune and Ottmarsheim, marking the border between France and Germany. It serves in particular the cities of Dole, Besançon, Montbéliard, Belfort and Mulhouse, also facilitating access to Germany towards Fribourg-en-Brisgau and to Switzerland towards Bâle.
The Besançon-Champoux area
Built a few years after the opening of the motorway (around 1990), at the same time as its neighbour in Marchaux, it houses restaurants, shops (all renovated in 2022) and a service station.
Between 2011 and 2015, the truck parking area was expanded.
A platform connects the 2 areas, you can do the neighbouring geocache!
