Descrizione

Salita tecnicamente impegnativa da Pian del Re o fisicamente impegnativa dal refuge du viso. Non è necessaria attrezzatura da arrampicata, in quanto i passi di arrampicata si trovano tra il bivacco e la punta mentre la cache è situata prima. E' invece necessario il casco.
Non necessaria non vuol dire non consigliata! salendo dal versante francese non c'è alcun bisogno, ma salendo da quello italiano il canale prima del culoir del porco presenta una breve ferrata un po' esposta. Potreste sentirvi più a vostro agio con un imbrago e kit da ferrata o quantomeno due longe. Non improvvisatevi alpinisti.

Salita consigliatissima in presenza di neve e ghiaccio, una buona introduzione all'alpinismo invernale se si sale dal versante italiano (naturalmente attrezzati adeguatamente). Dal versante francese una bella scialpinistica su cui non mi esprimo in quanto non l'ho mai svolta.

ATTENZIONE: La cache è raggiungibile d'inverno. A causa della sua posizione sopraelevata dovrebbe esserne possibile anche il recupero in presenza di neve. In generale se il Bivacco di punta Venezia non è ricoperto di neve non lo è nemmeno GZ, d'altra parte non posso garantire che la cachè sia sempre raggiungibile, io l'ho nascosta d'inverno. In caso la cache non fosse accessibile un photolog che lo dimostra (possibilmente in privato) sarà sufficente

La cache

Situata subito dietro al bivacco di punta Venezia sotto ad un grosso masso, cercare sul lato SE (quello che da sul bivacco). classico pelting. foto spoiler.
C'è una foto spoiler, usarla solo in caso di SUPER emergenza perchè è tantissimo spoiler (abbassa la difficoltà a 0).

Description

A technically challenging ascent from Pian del Re or physically demanding from the refuge du viso. Climbing equipment is not necessary as the climbing steps are located between the bivouac and the peak while the cache is situated before. However, a helmet is necessary.
Not necessary does not mean not recommended! Climbing from the French side does not require it, but climbing from the Italian side, the channel before the culoir del porco presents a short and somewhat exposed via ferrata. You might feel more comfortable with a harness and via ferrata kit or at least two slings. Do not attempt to be an alpinist without preparation.

Highly recommended ascent in the presence of snow and ice, a good introduction to winter mountaineering if ascending from the Italian side (naturally equipped adequately). From the French side, a nice ski mountaineering route on which I will not comment as I have never done it.

WARNING: The cache is accessible in winter. Due to its elevated position, it should be possible to retrieve it even with snow. Generally, if the Punta Venezia bivouac is not covered with snow, neither is GZ; on the other hand, I cannot guarantee that the cache is always accessible, as I hid it in winter. If the cache is not accessible, a photolog demonstrating this (possibly in private) will suffice.

The Cache

Located right behind the Punta Venezia bivouac under a large boulder, search on the SE side (the one facing the bivouac). Classic pelting. Spoiler photo.
There is a spoiler photo, use it only in case of a SUPER emergency because it is a huge spoiler (reduces the difficulty to 0).

FRANÇAIS

Description

Une ascension techniquement difficile depuis Pian del Re ou physiquement exigeante depuis le refuge du viso. L'équipement d'escalade n'est pas nécessaire car les pas d'escalade se trouvent entre le bivouac et le sommet tandis que la cache est située avant. Cependant, un casque est nécessaire.
Pas nécessaire ne veut pas dire non recommandé ! En montant du côté français, il n'y a pas besoin, mais en montant du côté italien, le canal avant le culoir del porco présente une courte via ferrata un peu exposée. Vous pourriez vous sentir plus à l'aise avec un harnais et un kit de via ferrata ou au moins deux longes. Ne vous improvisez pas alpiniste.

Ascension fortement recommandée en présence de neige et de glace, une bonne introduction à l'alpinisme hivernal si vous montez du côté italien (naturellement équipé de manière adéquate). Du côté français, un bel itinéraire de ski de randonnée sur lequel je ne me prononcerai pas car je ne l'ai jamais fait.

ATTENTION : La cache est accessible en hiver. En raison de sa position élevée, il devrait être possible de la récupérer même avec de la neige. En général, si le bivouac de Punta Venezia n'est pas couvert de neige, GZ ne l'est pas non plus ; d'autre part, je ne peux pas garantir que la cache soit toujours accessible, car je l'ai cachée en hiver. Si la cache n'est pas accessible, un photolog le démontrant (de préférence en privé) suffira.

Située juste derrière le bivouac de Punta Venezia sous un gros rocher, cherchez du côté SE (celui faisant face au bivouac). Pierres classiques. Photo spoiler.
