Hello! I'm a geocacher living in New Zealand and travelling to England and Scotland in May/June this year - mostly to visit family, but also to explore new places and of course find a few caches. I thought it might be nice to meet some other geocachers while I'm here!
This event will just be a casual meetup at 9:00 on Saturday 15th June, at the Stewart Memorial Fountain in Kelvingrove Park. I picked this spot since it's close to where I'm staying while I'm in Glasgow, and it's not too far from the train station where I'll need to be to catch my train to London later in the day. I would love to meet some locals and hear about your favourite caches in the area, and I'm also happy to pick up any trackables that would like to go to London or New Zealand. I'll bring some with me to exchange, too!
The event will still go ahead if it rains, but if the weather is absolutely rubbish, I'd appreciate any suggestions of alternative sheltered meeting spots nearby. 
I am really looking forward to coming to Glasgow, and I hope some of you might come along to this event and say hello!
