Attend a CITO event between 1st March - 31st May to earn the souvenir
🌳🌿 Clearing and Trimming the Trails on Robinswood Hill 🌿🌳
Parking: Is in the main Robinswood Hill car park (see parking waypoint), which is a free car park with no time limit, although it is closed and locked overnight.
Where: Meet up at the Ranger Station (main coordinates) for 09:30 to collect tools, then we will walk to the work site on the Hill. For anyone arriving after this time, please check the cache page for updates on our location, or contact me via the message centre.
What: We will be trimming the edges of the trail paths on Robinswood Hill, taking care not to disturb any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. Please bring your own work gloves if possible and if you wish to use your own tools (loppers, shears) please bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply too.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please bring your own refreshments - a drink and perhaps a snack for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided 😁
