Camp MiGO has always been about Camping, Community, and Fun and this year we're celebrating 25 years of Geocaching and the community with even more activities and events for geocachers from around the world!
Come celebrate 25 years of Geocaching and the community of Geocaching HQ, reviewers, hiders, Charter Members and finders who make up the game we love! We have a full day of activities and a full calendar of events beginning on July 30, 2025. The main event takes place at the Deer Run Pavillion, at the Waterloo Recreation Area in Chelsea, Michigan.
Event day Schedule!
9:00am - Registration opens, package pickup, Camp Store
(Limited SWAG will be available for purchase)
10:00am to 2:00pm - Activity Centers open,
Let the GAMES begin!
FlipFlop Fling - Can you Fling your FlipFlop into the basket?
The cost to play is one token. 4-Flops to Flip per player. Each
FlipFlop in the can wins another token. Get one in the can and
win a pathtag. (while supplies last)
Walk the Plank - What Caribbean themed event could not
include this activity?
Knock your opponent off the plank while staying on yourself.
The cost to play is two tokens. Each successful Pirate earns
2-Tokens, and a custom designed tag. (while supplies last)
Pina Colada Bowling - A cross between Bowling, Fowling
and just plain Nuts!
The cost to play is one token. The "ball" must be rolled.
One roll per player. Knock down at least one pin, receive a
custom designed tag (while supplies last). Knock down all
"pins" (a strike) and receive a tag, plus 2-tokens, plus a
prize from the "prize bucket".
GPS Toss - Who needs a GPSr anyway?
The cost to play is 2-tokens. 3-GPSrs provided per player.
Get the GPSr into any can, win a custom designed tag (while
supplies last). Cans further away are worth more. Limit 1-tag,
1-prize (from the "prize bucket", and up to 9-tokens per turn.
GPS Golf - Kinda like Golf, kinda of an adventure,
kinda like closest to the mark.
The cost to play is one token. The objective is to find the
"flag" and enter the second half of the coordinates on your
scorecard. Flags will be near Geocaches and AL locations.
Top 3 scorers, and lowest score win prizes. Participants will
get 2 tokens and a custom designed tag (while supplies last)
for completing a scorecard.
GeoPlinko! - Another use for all of those tokens you've
accumulated
Drop your token into the Plinko board, where it lands, no one
knows! Prizes for those special slots.

11 to 11:45am - Cachetur - with very special guest KittyKatch, all the
way from Australia! Kitty is a Cachetur Ambassador and can
fill us in on how best to use this great planning app for
adventures!
1pm to 1:45pm - County Caching - with very special guest
CaptainMath!
The Captain has cached in all 50 states! He has collected
over 100,000 geocaches! He has filled his "Fizzy" Grid more
than 50 times!
2:00 to 3:00pm - Come trade tags and Geocoins in the main tent
area
3:00 to 4:00pm - Time to wrap this party up! A special presentation
for some of the "Special people" in the game, our local Charter
Members! Raffle prizes drawn, GPS Golf Results announced
4:00 to 7:30pm - Wind down, grab some dinner, go for some more
caches, and then come back for "Treasure"! The movie!
The concession stand will have popcorn and soda available
for your snacking pleasure.

Geocaches:
There are a lot of geocaches for you to find in the area, including 5 from the year 2000! We have more caches in the works and expect to release them during the event week. At least 2 new GeoArts will be released and over 200 new caches in the area for LOTS of smiley opportunities! They will be in different places and different times, so that everyone has a chance for an FTF!
Adventure Labs:
Yes, there will be many Adventures for you to experience as well. No "world record" but plenty of fun for all. Expect each event to have a companion Adventure, and some special places to visit and experience.
