Attend a CITO event between 1st March - 31st May to earn the souvenir
🌿🍃 TRIMMING PATH EDGES AT HUCCLECOTE MEADOWS SSSI 🍃🌿
Parking: There is some on-street parking opposite Hucclecote Meadows Reserve on Laxton Road (or in many of the other side streets nearby).
Where: We will meet at 09:30 by the main entrance to the Reserve (near the headline coordinates) or after that, find us working around the edges of the Meadows.
What: Join us as we lightly trim edges of the footpaths around the boundaries of the Meadows.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring your own gardening gloves if possible and feel free to bring your own shears and secateurs if you wish. Don't worry if you don't have them as the Ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please think about bringing a hot/cold drink for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided!
